Century Bell

The Century Bell was built to welcome the arrival of the 21st century. This landmark building started construction around 2000. It is located on the bank of the Haihe River near Tianjin Railway Station, which is a major transportation hub in Tianjin and an important window for the city to showcase its image to the outside world. With a unique design that combines classical and modern elements, the bell is adorned with exquisite patterns on its surface, and surrounded by decorations such as gears symbolizing the passage of time. It has become a popular spot for many tourists to take photos.

Liberation Bridge

This steel-structured bridge was first built in the early 20th century. It is not only a vital transportation link connecting the two banks of the Haihe River, but also famous for its unique retractable design — when the huge steel trusses slowly rise, ships can pass through smoothly, which never fails to amaze the tourists who stop to watch.

Jinwan Square

The architectural style here is unique, combining European charm with modern design, featuring red brick walls and pointed roofs. Around the square, there are numerous restaurants, cafes and shops, where tourists can enjoy delicious food while admiring the night view of the Haihe River.

Italian Style Street​

This place was once the Italian concession in Tianjin, and now nearly 200 European-style buildings with Mediterranean style are still well preserved. Ancient Cultural Street，Queen of Heaven Palace

Tianhou Palace, founded in the Yuan Dynasty, is one of the oldest existing architectural complexes in Tianjin and a famous Mazu Temple in northern China. For thousands of years, it has been a place where Tianjin people pray for blessings and good fortune. Especially on the 23rd day of the third lunar month every year, the birthday of Mazu, a grand temple fair is held here, with lively activities such as dragon and lion dances and opera performances, demonstrating Tianjin's profound marine culture and folk traditions.​

Ancient Cultural Street radiates out with Tianhou Palace as the center. The entire street has antique buildings, replicating the market style of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Drum Tower

Its architecture is a typical Chinese pavilion style with overhanging eaves and raised corners, presenting an impressive appearance. There is a large drum inside the tower, which was used for telling time and giving warnings in the old days. Nowadays, visitors can climb up and beat the drum.​

Wanghailou Church（St. Joseph's Church）
