Admission & Initial Experience

Enter through Gate 2, check in at the "Tree of Life" lantern group in Golden Square, wander along Ninghui Road to admire the "Zhuang Zhou Dreaming of a Butterfly" lantern group, and feel the wonderful atmosphere of the Year of the Snake coexisting harmoniously with mountain and forest beasts.

Lantern Festival Core Area

Visit the "Golden Snake Presenting Blessings" lantern group in Central Square, the "Shan Hai Jing" mythical beast lantern groups on Nine-Turn Bridge and Yuyuan Old Street, and appreciate the classic shapes of China's top ten lantern art schools and the "beauty of harmony".

Photography & Rest

Take photos at recommended spots such as the middle section of Nine-Turn Bridge and the entrance of Yuyuan Old Street, and taste Shanghai's characteristic snacks like haitang cake and Xiaoyang Shengjian (pan-fried dumplings) during the break.

Surrounding Exploration

Check in at the "Creation Miracle" lantern group at Gate 5, wander along Jiuxiaochang Road to experience intangible cultural heritage activities such as sugar painting and dough figurines, and return to the main street to admire the panoramic lights of Yuyuan Tourist Mart.
