Your tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Shanghai. Our guide will meet you at a designated location (please contact us to arrange an alternative if you are outside the designated area) and accompany you to the destination via coach or metro. We will head to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, one of the best-preserved ancient towns in Shanghai.

In Zhujiajiao, you will experience the beautiful scenery of a traditional water town, explore the historic charm and cultural atmosphere of the Jiangnan region, and enjoy a boat ride along the picturesque waterways. You will also view various unique architectural landmarks, including:

Fangsheng Bridge – Shanghai's largest five-arch stone bridge; built during the Ming Dynasty, it serves as a landmark of the ancient town.

Kezhi Garden – A private garden built in 1912 that blends Chinese and Western architectural styles.

Yuanzhen Zen Temple – A temple dating back to the Yuan Dynasty; its Qinghua Pavilion houses a collection of Ming Dynasty paintings and calligraphy, and you can climb the temple for a panoramic view of the town.

Daqing Post Office – The only surviving Qing Dynasty post office in East China, built in 1903; here, you can send vintage-style postcards.

Additionally, you can sample local snacks such as spicy tofu, *zongzi* (sticky rice dumplings), fruit skewers, and various pastries. For lunch, we will provide local street food (dishes selected by us), including options like noodles or wontons.

At the conclusion of the tour, gentlemen will receive a folding fan and ladies a round fan as souvenirs. Finally, we will escort you back to your hotel in Shanghai, allowing you to relax and recharge after the trip.
