I’ve been in Guangzhou for 15 years, with 4 years on campus and 11 working years. I’m a big fan of Chinese modern history (1840-1949) and I find my love extended naturally to citywalk in Guangzhou, Mecca of that part of history. I'm also keen on arcade buildings and classical gardens. I believe even though the big names are gone the fancy houses they lived in, the fantastic arcade building streets they built, and the fascinating food they were treated to, are worth your attention & appetite.
