Amazing day trip! The bullet train ride was smooth and the Southern Great Wall in Linhai is stunning without the Beijing crowds. Ziyang Old Street had great food. Highly recommend for families.

The bullet train ride was smooth and the scenery in Linhai is beautiful. However, the day felt quite long for a solo adult with a child, and the pacing was a bit rushed at the Old Street. Good alternative to Beijing crowds.
