Amazing day trip! The bullet train ride was smooth and the Southern Great Wall is stunning without the Beijing crowds. Ziyang Old Street was a highlight for food and photos. Highly recommend!

The bullet train ride was smooth and the Southern Great Wall is a nice alternative to Beijing. However, the 13-hour duration felt quite long for our group of five. Ziyang Old Street was charming.

The bullet train ride was comfortable, but the day felt extremely rushed. With 4 people, the logistics were a bit chaotic and we spent more time in transit than actually exploring. Ziyang Street was nice, but not enough time to enjoy the food.

The bullet train ride was comfortable, but the day felt very rushed. With a large group of six, logistics were a bit chaotic and we spent more time coordinating than enjoying the sights. The Southern Great Wall itself is interesting, but the overall pacing didn't work well for us.
